Extremely configurable mappings exist between Kofax and TRIM metadata, including record type, the external id, renditions, related records, dates, the classification, title, container/alternate container, notes, actions, workflows (requires a special version), locations/contacts, user defined fields and more. TRIM lookups upon reference numbers, URIs, location names and user names are built in.
TRIM Connect in Kofax is complemented by the scripting power of the Kofax Capture and KTM modules during validation and recognition. Custom lookup scripts for TRIM fields can be used, including allowing familiar TRIM record/location properties and search screens to be used.
Let your user choose to assign a document to an existing record via a TRIM search or create a record using your own TRIM defined entry form. Choose a workflow, action, classification, container or record type based on custom business rules. Finally, pass this information via a mapping in TRIM Connect in Kofax back to TRIM when you export/release your documents.
